The Midtown Business Alliance
The Midtown Business Alliance exists to spotlight, support, and strengthen the businesses that make Midtown Phoenix vibrant. From Camelback to the I-10, 7th Avenue to 7th Street, we serve the 2,000+ companies—contractors, retailers, restaurateurs, institutions, and service providers—who keep this district running. Our mission is simple: deliver real marketing value, build authentic connections between businesses and their customers, and elevate Midtown as a destination through creative media, strategic events, and a first-of-its-kind AI-powered business directory.
We don’t ask you to vote on policy or attend endless breakfasts—we work. Our team creates done-for-you content, manages member promotions, and produces events that bring visibility and opportunity directly to your business. Our Midtown Business Directory listing options will give your business high visibility in local Internet Searches. Whether you’re a startup looking for your first customers or an institution seeking deeper community ties, the Midtown Business Alliance is here to help you grow smart, stay visible, and stay connected to the neighborhood you serve.

Margaret Dietrich
Margaret Dietrich is a Co-Founder of the Midtown Neighborhood Association (MNA) and a dedicated community builder whose roots in Phoenix go back to 1974. Originally from Chicago, she moved to Phoenix nearly five decades ago and, in 1991, helped form the Loma Linda Neighborhood Association. The joy of finally knowing her neighbors after 15 years was so profound, she vowed never again to live in a neighborhood without that kind of connection.
In 2008, Margaret co-founded the Midtown Neighborhood Association with Julia Tourville, and Midtown has been home to her and her husband Regis ever since. As a long-time accountant and current resident of Tapestry on Central, she values both the proximity to the light rail and the urban, walkable lifestyle of Central Phoenix. Margaret has long envisioned an organization focused specifically on business support, one that matches the needs of local companies with the local providers who meet those needs. That dream is now becoming reality through the upcoming Midtown Business Alliance business directory—a tool designed to do exactly that.

Jason was nominated for the Torch Award for Ethics in both 2024 and 2025, further solidifying his reputation for excellence and integrity in marketing.
A former Desert Vista High School state champion football player, Jason has built a career and community presence on grit, creativity, and follow-through. With a deep understanding of local business needs—especially in trades, hospitality, healthcare, and neighborhood services—Jason brings sharp vision and operational muscle to the Midtown Business Alliance, working to connect local companies through AI-powered tools, immersive video content, and grassroots events.
